Verses is Vineyard 36’s rarest cuvée, a unique blend of Cabernet Sauvignon and Cabernet Franc coming entirely from the famed Oakville Ranch Vineyard. Overlooking the Oakville AVA from the slopes of the Vaca Mountain Range, this site lies on an enviable vein of iron rich volcanic rock, which give the wine its unmistakable refinement and depth.

Black cassis, toasted vanilla, hazelnut, nutmeg, Nutella, flaky croissant, brioche, dried florals, lilac notes on this full-bodied wine. Verses has tremendous weight, velvety tannin profile is an excellent combination of pure fruit, barrel and sense of place. This gorgeous site adds earthy tones of iron, minerality and crushed rock.”
