“Beautifully refined on the nose with nice density, good richness, a touch of sweet new oak, a dusting of fresh vanilla and bitter cocoa, really good definition of fruit, framed by an energetic hint of orange pith. On the palate it’s so good up front, loads of vintage expression with energy and power, a lovely texture of crunchy tannins, an almost salty minerality, and a great finish.
