Myriad received grapes from six different blocks for its 2021 Cabernet Sauvignon Beckstoffer Georges III Vineyard, which is wonderfully perfumed and floral on the nose, adding those nuances to deep notes of black cherries, cassis and dark chocolate. Full-bodied and concentrated, this is rich and intense without any sense of heaviness, finishing long and supple.

A blockbuster of a wine, the 2021 Cabernet Sauvignon Beckstoffer Georges III Vineyard sports a dense purple hue as well as a mammoth-sized personality. Dark fruits, smoked tobacco, chocolate, and bouquet garni all emerge on the nose, and it’s full-bodied, with a thrilling mid-palate and awesome tannins. This is riveting stuff, and I suspect it will be drinkable with just a few years of bottle age.
