Tasting Notes
Jeb Dunnuck 97
Looking first at his white, which is based on 41% Roussanne, 36% Chardonnay, 15% Viognier, and the rest Marsanne, the 2020 White Cuvee has a rocking nose of ripe orange, marmalade, flower oil, honey, and even hints of licorice. A mix of a great Hermitage and a blockbuster Chardonnay from the Russian River, it hits the palate with full-bodied richness, a lush, opulent mouthfeel, beautiful balance, and a heck of a finish. This singular, powerful, unctuous white is going to keep for a solid decade.
