OVID is located on the western boundary of Pritchard Hill, a stone’s throw from Colgin IX Estate and Realm’s Houyi Vineyard. It’s an incredibly consistent site, yet 2019 may be the best yet with their flagship Cabernet Sauvignon-based OVID Napa Valley and Cabernet Franc-dominated Hexameter both hitting the perfect 100 point score with Jeb Dunnuck.
Pure Napa Valley magic as well as a perfect wine, the 2019 Hexameter reveals a deep purple hue along with an incredibly complex bouquet of black raspberries, spring flowers, cassis, vanilla, and tobacco. This carries to a layered, full-bodied red with ultra-fine tannins, perfect balance, a deep, opulent mouthfeel, and an incredible finish. This is one of those wines where nothing is out of place, and while it already delivers pleasure today, it’s going to evolve for 20-25 years. The blend is 55% Cabernet Franc, 42% Cabernet Sauvignon, and the balance Merlot and Petit Verdot. Hats off to the team at Ovid for this incredible wine.

Deliveries are made through London City Bond.
We deliver Monday-Friday and charges are £16 ex-VAT for the majority of UK postcodes (Highlands and Islands will incur additional charges).
We can also offer next-day delivery for central London addresses if an order is placed before 12:00 the previous day, and also offer same day deliveries at an additional charge.
We can also arrange deliveries to other storage accounts. Prices vary from £12 ex-VAT (within the London City Bond warehouses) to £16 ex-VAT for delivery to all other storage providers (likes of Octavian).

Wines are stored at London City Bond, Creek Road in Barking. All wines are professionally stored under ideal conditions and insured to their full market value. Our current storage fee is £10.50 ex-VAT per 12 bottle case or equivalent per year.
