Epoch’s Block B is a limited production comprised of the most intense fruit from a single parcel of east-facing vines in the legendary Paderewski Vineyard. It’s always a brooding, rich, mineral-driven wine with bags of savoury notes – everything that makes Paderewski so special.
This bottling is a revelation, showing impressive density and darkness without veering anywhere near overripeness. Aromas of toasted blackberry, milk chocolate, violet and toasted wood entice the nose, drawing into a palate wrapped in chiseled tannins. Flavors are loaded with toasted walnut, espresso, chocolate cream and elegantly minty herb. The finish goes on forever. Drink now-2045.

The 2019 Block B Syrah comes from the Paderewski vineyard and was matured 18 months in 81% new French oak. Opaque ruby-purple, it takes significant time to unwind to blackberry and blueberry jam, lilac, white pepper and powdered sugar aromas. The full-bodied palate is supple yet powerful with abundant, powdery tannins and youthfully concentrated, floral fruits refreshed by bright bursts of acidity. More detail emerges as it spends time in the glass, and it boasts an epically long finish. Beautiful! 533 cases were made.

Deliveries are made through London City Bond.
We deliver Monday-Friday and charges are £16 ex-VAT for the majority of UK postcodes (Highlands and Islands will incur additional charges).
We can also offer next-day delivery for central London addresses if an order is placed before 12:00 the previous day, and also offer same day deliveries at an additional charge.
We can also arrange deliveries to other storage accounts. Prices vary from £12 ex-VAT (within the London City Bond warehouses) to £16 ex-VAT for delivery to all other storage providers (likes of Octavian).

Wines are stored at London City Bond, Creek Road in Barking. All wines are professionally stored under ideal conditions and insured to their full market value. Our current storage fee is £10.50 ex-VAT per 12 bottle case or equivalent per year.
