Oublié’s blend is always Grenache, Syrah and Mourvèdre – Booker’s California ode to Châteauneuf-du-Pape. The namesake is a play on the French term for “forgotten”. Rhône varietals grow beautifully on the Estate and winemaker Eric believes that they are far-too-often forgotten when you think of a California wine.
The 2019 Oublie is a blend of 31% Syrah, 27% Mourvedre, 4% Tannat and 4% Petite Sirah with a medium ruby-purple color. The nose offers gregarious mixed berry preserves and accents of potpourri, mint and fragrant earth. The palate offers juicy appeal and powerful fruit with loads of spice and floral perfume, bursts of freshness and firm, pleasantly rustic tannins, finishing very long.
Anticipated maturity: 2021-2036
Beautiful purity of fruit to this, with blueberry and dried-orange character. Very grapey. Medium-to full-bodied with a lively and bright, citrus finish. Real wine. 34% grenache, 31% syrah 27% mourvedre, 4% tannat and 4% petite sirah. Drink or hold.

Deliveries are made through London City Bond.
We deliver Monday-Friday and charges are £16 ex-VAT for the majority of UK postcodes (Highlands and Islands will incur additional charges).
We can also offer next-day delivery for central London addresses if an order is placed before 12:00 the previous day, and also offer same day deliveries at an additional charge.
We can also arrange deliveries to other storage accounts. Prices vary from £12 ex-VAT (within the London City Bond warehouses) to £16 ex-VAT for delivery to all other storage providers (likes of Octavian).

Wines are stored at London City Bond, Creek Road in Barking. All wines are professionally stored under ideal conditions and insured to their full market value. Our current storage fee is £10.50 ex-VAT per 12 bottle case or equivalent per year.
