Argot winemaker and founder Justin Harmon is one of THE names to follow in Northern California, and this latest release shows just why. Rich, lifted aromatics, so much purity, bags on tension, intensity minerality, laser-like precision… it is phenomenal.

Only 250 cases were made – all Justin’s wines are small-scale artisanal productions – using fruit from the exceptional Steiner and Richard Dinner Vineyards on Sonoma Mountain. This is a terroir that brings impressive depth while retaining dazzling verve and acidity.

The Wine Independent 97

The 2019 Chardonnay Le Rayon Vert comes from fruit grown on Sonoma Mountain. It slides out of the glass with graceful notes of lemon tart, lime leaves, and fresh grapefruit, leading to suggestions of almond croissant, sea spray, honeysuckle, and aniseed. The medium-bodied palate is fantastically tight-knit with gorgeous tension and layer upon layer of citrus and mineral flavors, finishing very long and chalky. This is amazing. [13/04/2023]

Deliveries are made through London City Bond.

We deliver Monday-Friday and charges are £16 ex-VAT for the majority of UK postcodes (Highlands and Islands will incur additional charges).

We can also offer next-day delivery for central London addresses if an order is placed before 12:00 the previous day, and also offer same day deliveries at an additional charge.

Storage and Transfer fees

We can also arrange deliveries to other storage accounts. Prices vary from £12 ex-VAT (within the London City Bond warehouses) to £16 ex-VAT for delivery to all other storage providers (likes of Octavian).

Wines are stored at London City Bond, Creek Road in Barking. All wines are professionally stored under ideal conditions and insured to their full market value. Our current storage fee is £10.50 ex-VAT per 12 bottle case or equivalent per year.
