The flagship is the 2017 Cabernet Sauvignon Poetry, which is based on 88% Cabernet Sauvignon, 7% Cabernet Franc, 4% Petit Verdot, and the balance Merlot. Straight-up awesome notes of black raspberries, blueberries, smoked tobacco, violets, spice box, and gravelly earth as well as a bloody, meaty character all emerge from this magical wine. With full-bodied richness, ultra-fine tannins, flawless balance, and a great, great finish, it doesn’t have the sheer opulence of the 2016 or 2015 yet shows a more classical, elegant, style that still packs ample richness and depth. It needs 4-5 years of bottle age and will keep for 20 years or more. It’s a candidate for the wine of the vintage and is an incredible achievement for this team. Bravo.

UK Deliveries
Deliveries are made through London City Bond.
We deliver Monday-Friday and charges are £16 ex-VAT for the majority of UK postcodes (Highlands and Islands will incur additional charges).
We can also offer next-day delivery for central London addresses if an order is placed before 12:00 the previous day, and also offer same day deliveries at an additional charge.
Storage and Transfer fees
We can also arrange deliveries to other storage accounts. Prices vary from £12 ex-VAT (within the London City Bond warehouses) to £16 ex-VAT for delivery to all other storage providers (likes of Octavian).

Storage
Wines are stored at London City Bond, Creek Road in Barking. All wines are professionally stored under ideal conditions and insured to their full market value. Our current storage fee is £10.50 ex-VAT per 12 bottle case or equivalent per year.
