Arriving in 2006, winemaker Sam Kaplan continues to fashion rock star wines from this Howell Mountain estate. One of the best whites from Napa, as well as one of the most ageworthy, the 2017 Sauvignon Blanc Estate gives up serious notes of stone fruits, lime, orange blossom, and some obvious minerality on the nose. Made from 94% Sauvignon Blanc and 6% Semillon aged in a mix of barrel and concrete eggs, it s full-bodied, concentrated, and textured, all while staying pure and incredibly precise on the palate. It s a brilliant wine that I suspect will evolve for two decades.

UK Deliveries
Deliveries are made through London City Bond.
We deliver Monday-Friday and charges are £16 ex-VAT for the majority of UK postcodes (Highlands and Islands will incur additional charges).
We can also offer next-day delivery for central London addresses if an order is placed before 12:00 the previous day, and also offer same day deliveries at an additional charge.
Storage and Transfer fees
We can also arrange deliveries to other storage accounts. Prices vary from £12 ex-VAT (within the London City Bond warehouses) to £16 ex-VAT for delivery to all other storage providers (likes of Octavian).

Storage
Wines are stored at London City Bond, Creek Road in Barking. All wines are professionally stored under ideal conditions and insured to their full market value. Our current storage fee is £10.50 ex-VAT per 12 bottle case or equivalent per year.

One of the rarest examples is the he-li-an-thus Sauvignon Blanc. The source of the fruit is a 22 year old hillside vineyard shrouded in secrecy, but we do know the winemaker is a modern day Napa genius: Jason Exposto from FUTO Estate.
Jason specifically chose this cool, north facing vineyard as the dry-farmed vines have the perfect synergy of natural richness and crystalline acidity he looks for in a great Sauvignon Blanc.

"Sourced from a cool pocket of the vineyard and picked over numerous passes. We basket press the whole clusters and run the cool juice to seasoned French oak barrels, where the native yeast ferments the wines to dryness. We age for several months on lees before bottling unfined and unfiltered. Mouthwatering flavour of meyer lemon, jasmine and stone fruit and wrapped together with a flinty acidity."

By combining fruit from the Georgia Estate Vineyard in Coombsville with parcels from the cooler Coombsville AVA in the south of the Valley, winemakers Philippe Melka and Maayan Koschitzky have produced a stunning wines that punches far above its weight every vintage.
