The 2016 Downstream is drinking brilliantly today and shows how good this vintage was for Paso Robles. A blend of mostly Zinfandel with 8% Syrah, 6% Mataro, and 6% Petite Sirah (there might be some other varieties in here as well), it offers a killer bouquet of ripe red and black fruits, tobacco, cigar, and baking spices that opens up beautifully with time in the glass. This is followed by a full-bodied, ultra-pure, perfectly balanced red that has everything in the right places, silky tannins, and a great finish. It leans heavily toward the hedonistic side of the spectrum yet never goes over the top, has remarkable complexity, and maintains a beautiful sense of elegance. Drink it any time over the coming decade.

UK Deliveries
Deliveries are made through London City Bond.
We deliver Monday-Friday and charges are £16 ex-VAT for the majority of UK postcodes (Highlands and Islands will incur additional charges).
We can also offer next-day delivery for central London addresses if an order is placed before 12:00 the previous day, and also offer same day deliveries at an additional charge.
Storage and Transfer fees
We can also arrange deliveries to other storage accounts. Prices vary from £12 ex-VAT (within the London City Bond warehouses) to £16 ex-VAT for delivery to all other storage providers (likes of Octavian).

Storage
Wines are stored at London City Bond, Creek Road in Barking. All wines are professionally stored under ideal conditions and insured to their full market value. Our current storage fee is £10.50 ex-VAT per 12 bottle case or equivalent per year.
