SLOAN ESTATE has been producing some of Napa’s most revered and highly sought-after wines for almost 20 years and remains one of the most private and guarded wineries in the World. It is rightly held alongside Screaming Eagle, Scarecrow and Harlan Estate for its incredible quality and rare exclusivity.

SLOAN ESTATE sits among ancient manzanita and pines trees above the famous Auberge de Soleil in the hills of eastern Rutherford, with only 5.2ha under vine. It has the perfect blend of white tufa soil, cooling marine influence, and ideal sun exposure for producing world-class Cabernet Sauvignon.
 
With a tiny annual production, consistently high praise from the critics, and a closed mailing list reserved for collectors of California’s top labels, it is almost impossible to buy at release.

Robert Parker 100

Deep garnet-purple colored, the 2015 Proprietary Red is a little closed and broody at this youthful stage, the nose beginning to open and grow into a beautiful redcurrant jelly, cassis, kirsch and black raspberry core with nuances of red roses, mocha, unsmoked cigars, camphor and tilled soil. Full-bodied and fabulously decadent in the mouth, the palate reveals a very firm, very plush frame with loads of perfumed layers and an epically long, fragrant finish. [13/12/2018]

We deliver Monday-Friday and charges are £16 ex-VAT for the majority of UK postcodes (Highlands and Islands will incur additional charges).

Storage and Transfer fees

Founded and developed by pioneer vintner Jess Jackson, the goal of Vérité was to focus on exploring the identity of eastern-Sonoma's hillside vineyards through combining expectational sites across to showcase terroir and vintage characteristics to the highest standard. Jackson's first-choice to head the project renowned St. Emilion winemaker Pierre Seillan, who arrived for the first vintage in 1998. They both took inspiration from the most famous Châteaux of Pomerol to craft a distinctly 'Sonoma' Merlot that could stand proudly aside it's French cousins - La Muse. It was such a resounding success and led them to explore more micro 'Grand Crus' along the mountainous eastern portion of Sonoma. They soon developed a Cabaret Sauvignon based cuvée that was a dead ringer for the greats of Pauillac - La Joie - and a Cabernet Franc led blend inspired by the modern classics of St. Emilion - Le Désir.
