Winemaker Keith Emerson: "Punching aromatics, riper profile, blackberry pie, black cherry, all-spice with hints of nutmeg and baking spice from the barrel. Dried lavender, opulent, structured throughout but a powerful Cabernet Sauvignon from the Plateau block within Oakville Ranch Vineyard."

This wine behind the label is a blend world-class Cabernet Sauvignon from the Beckstoffer Georges III Vineyard in eastern Rutherford, and Renteria Vineyard in northern Oakville. They all come together in synergy, effortlessly blending the expected with the unexpected, to produce a beautifully balanced wine. Winemaker Keith Emerson: "Cassis, violets, black currant and graphite enters fresh and lively with amazing energy and plushness. Some blue fruits as well on the mid-palate, firm and structured tannins expressing a true mountain profile petrichor, coffee grounds, cocoa powder with excellent richness and concentration."
