Blend: Mourvèdre-based Vintage production: c. 400 magnums Begining with the 2010 vintage, Sine Qua Non's Manfred Krankl is making a Châteauneuf-du-Pape called Chimère jointly with Vincent and... Pascal Maurel, who own and run Clos Saint-Jean in Châteauneuf, and oenologist Philippe Cambie. It is predominantly Mourvedre (-95%) with some Grenache and a touch of white grapes. The Mourvèdre comes from the famed La Crau vineyard. It is bottled only in magnums.
